The ALTHEA is an automatic random-access coagulation analyzer designed for efficient coagulation testing using clotting, chromogenic, and immunologic methodologies. It supports 7 detection assays, STAT sample priority, automatic re-dilution and re-testing, optional barcode reading, and extensive onboard sample, reagent, and cuvette capacity. The system features probe pre-heating, automatic washing, collision protection, liquid-level detection, inventory checking, and storage for up to 100,000 test results and 10,000 reaction curves.
